Local boat transportation:
Local boat transportation from Headquarters to the starting area will be provided free of charge and as included in the participation fee. This will be done by trailers independent of the participants' transport.

More information will be provided in the days before competition day.

Boat transportation to Madeira Island:
Boat transportation to Madeira Island needs to be done by water, using a specific service contracted between the mainland (Portugal) and the island. This service will be provided and is included in the participation fee.

The boats must be delivered to the Portuguese Canoeing Federation, in Vila Nova de Gaia, before Friday, September 11th, and can be collected from Monday, September 30th, at the event headquarters (date to be confirmed ).

The boats will travel inside containers and accommodated on racks to avoid any problems. The Organization will ensure the transport of all boats using this service.

Boat collection: 
Boats can be collected by each participant, after being placed in the boat rack area, never before.

Return of boats:
The return of boats will take place from Headquarters.

Each participant must place their boat in a specific area, to be announced a few days before the day of the race. The transportation of boats to the starting area for training and the championship itself will be carried out using trailers.

All participants are invited to secure their boat on available trailers the afternoon/evening before.              

Boat rental:            
 Boat rental, boat brands and manufacturers will open rental services in the coming months for those who prefer to use a rented boat to compete in World Championships
